On Saturday 17 April 2010 the MFDS held a coffee afternoon to continue raising funds for their 60th anniversary celebrations.

Although the sun was shining, we still had a small crowd of people who joined us for the afternoon. They were able to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while there was a performance from the dancers. They even invited the audience up to dance the Mhelliah with them for the last dance.

There were plenty of homemade cakes to choose from, and  some members of the society showed off their creativity with a selection of their handmade crafts. A raffle took place with lots of prizes to be won.

An enjoyable day had by all!
