A Coffee Afternoon was held on Saturday 26th March 2011, from 2.15pm to about 4pm at Onchan Methodist Hall. A lot of people came along and spent their money at the stalls, enjoyed the coffee and tea and biscuits – although most bought some cake to have with their drinks and were entertained by the Manx Folk Dance Society dancers and musicians – the dancers were very grateful to John Kaneen, Shaz Christian and Kevin Mort for providing the music. The money raised is to help finance the Manx Folk Dance Society International Festival of Dance in August 2011, as part of their 60th Anniversary celebrations.

Norma & Dave Hodgson’s daughter, Marion, gave birth to a daughter, Emily Rose, at 22.18 on Saturday 12th March 2011, weighing 7lbs 4oz. Both doing well! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Rachel and John on the birth of their son! Joshua Daniel arrived at 2.55am on Saturday 19th February 2011, weighing in at 7lbs 1.5oz. Mum Rachel, Dad John and Joshua Daniel are all doing well!
